The Under Graduate Department of English in Savithri Devi Saboo Memorial Women’s College was started in the year 2013 with Modern World History and Social and Cultural History of Britain as Subsidiary Subjects. Within this short span of time, this department has the most enviable achievements. Each and every year this department is producing graduates who regularly get admissions for their Post Graduate Programmes in reputed colleges all over the state. For its enviable achievements over the years, this department is the best of its kind in the whole of the University of Calicut.
